Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Cookie Shape Surprise

As most parents know shape sorters are very important for babies and toddlers development and had-eye coordination. This particular one has the benefit of sounds and music and will teach your baby numbers and colours as well as develop their sorting skills. It's got the the usual Fisher Price cute face and its nose is a light up red button which activates a couple of fun phrases like 'mmmmm yummy'. Each shape is a different colour and has a different number on it (from 1 to 5) and depending which of the two playing settings you have it on when the shape goes in, the cookie jar says either which shape has gone through or which number is on the shape.

Admittedly, the shapes are kinda hard to push through for a baby as the walls of the jar itself are quite thick and the shapes need to go in an angle. Is it too hard for a baby? Yes. For a toddler? Not so much.

The fun feature about this toy is that it has a lid which can be put on and taken off fairly easily by a baby and when baby puts their hand in to reach for a shape it has sensors which will detect the movement and a song will start playing. Again, depending which setting you have it on the song is different but there are only two songs and I do wish there were more as I find those two a bit annoying.

As most toys nowadays it has a volume control at the bottom of the jar with a loud and low setting.

Overall? It is a pretty good, fun, and cute shape shorter. Small babies will enjoy taking the shapes out and putting them back in as well as stirring them and playing with the lid while older babies and toddlers will probably make use of the full features of this product.
